On January 21, 2020, at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, and the President of the World Economic Forum, Mr. Borge Brende, signed a memorandum of intent regarding the establishment of the Azerbaijan Center of the Fourth Industrial Revolution Centers Network of the World Economic Forum.
"Analysis and Coordination Center of the Fourth Industrial Revolution" by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated January 06, 2021, in order to strengthen the position of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Fourth Industrial Revolution and ensure its place among the leading countries in this field, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan the public created under it is a legal entity.
The "Center" is a public legal entity that carries out cooperation and coordination with the Republic of Azerbaijan and international organizations operating in the field of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, as well as the analysis and coordination of challenges, initiatives, strategies and projects on the digital economy.
